Extended Boom Working Range

The HULK1840 is a telescopic forklift truck designed for lifting, transporting and positioning materials at elevated or extended working locations. Its telescopic boom provides a maximum lifting height of 18,000 mm and a maximum forward reach of 13,080 mm.

Maximum lifting height and maximum forward reach represent different boom positions. Permitted capacity varies with boom extension, boom angle, load center and attachment, so the corresponding load chart must be checked before operation.

Stability and Load Control

The machine has a working weight of 13,000 kg with forks, a 3,670 mm wheelbase and a 1,990 mm axle track. Hydraulic outriggers provide additional support during configured lifting operations.

A ±9° frame-leveling function allows chassis adjustment within its specified range. Safe setup still depends on ground strength, surface gradient, outrigger position, load weight and the applicable working-range chart.

Engine and Transmission Configurations

The listed base engine is a YUCHAI YCD4J22T-125 rated at 91 kW. Optional Cummins, YUCHAI and FPT engines are available for different market and emission requirements.

The listed primary transmission combines a closed-circuit piston pump, travel pump or motor, gearbox and drive axle. A gearbox and hydraulic torque converter transmission is also listed as an alternative configuration.

Operator Control

The HULK1840 provides electronic gear control, four forward and four reverse gears, and a multifunction centralized hydraulic control handle.

Front-wheel steering supports regular travel, four-wheel steering assists maneuvering, and crab steering supports lateral positioning. The specified outer-wheel turning radius is no more than 4,500 mm.
