Straddle-Leg Configuration
The MDBS is a manually operated hydraulic stacker designed with wide straddle legs and adjustable forged forks. The MDBS500 has a specified straddle-leg width of 1,300 mm, while the MDBS1000 provides a width of 1,250 mm.
This configuration allows the support legs to be positioned around compatible loads and pallets. Actual compatibility should be checked against the pallet width, underside structure, fork position and straddle-leg dimensions.
Safety and Stability
A high-quality steel mast provides structural support during lifting. The wide straddle-leg layout and manual brake system help maintain controlled positioning on suitable level floors.
A metal grid separates the operator from the lifting chains. Safety wheel guards provide additional protection around the wheel area during operation.
Service Ability
The hydraulic pump supports manual lifting without a traction battery or electric lifting motor. The straightforward mechanical and hydraulic configuration allows key components to remain accessible for inspection.
Routine checks should cover the hydraulic system, chains, mast rollers, forks, wheels, wheel guards and brake system.
Ergonomic Operation
The operator can raise the load using either the hand control or foot pedal, reducing the need for excessive body movement during repeated lifting.
Lowering is manually controlled, allowing the operator to manage fork descent according to the load-handling task.
