Extended Fork Reach
The DST20 uses an electrically controlled double-scissor mechanism to provide a listed reach distance of 1,000 mm. The mast remains fixed to the frame while the fork assembly extends forward.
This extended reach forklift configuration supports pallet access where additional horizontal reach is required. Pallet depth, rack geometry, load center and usable capacity should be checked together when selecting the truck.
Safety and Stability
A low-center-of-gravity design supports stable handling, while the fixed mast arrangement contributes to the truck’s balance during fork extension.
The wide-view mast assists with load observation. Proportional hydraulic control allows lifting and lowering speeds to be adjusted, and the shock-absorber system helps reduce operating noise.
Loads must remain within the approved capacity limits for the selected mast, load center and reach position.
Service Ability
The sideways battery arrangement provides convenient access for battery replacement and service. The AC drive motor eliminates carbon-brush replacement, reducing routine motor maintenance requirements.
CANbus communication reduces wiring complexity. The multifunction display shows battery status, operating hours, fault codes and slow-running status to assist with inspection and troubleshooting.
Steering and Operating Control
Standard EPS provides assisted steering for regular warehouse maneuvering. Travel and lifting speeds can be controlled simultaneously, supporting coordinated movement during pallet handling.
The instrument display helps operators monitor truck status, while the wide-view mast assists with alignment during storage and retrieval.
